I used to blog all the time. Not very well, I’m sure, but throughout my twenties I became an avid and somewhat obsessive blogger. It was mostly to satisfy my love and obsession of celeb gossip. I needed somewhere to spit out all the information I was reading. And when it became apparent the people in my life were done with hearing about who Zac Efron was currently dating, or what new young starlet was rumored to be starring in the next YA book to movie series, I turned to blogging.
Then I hit my thirties and it was like all my free time that I used to spend blogging just disappeared. I really don’t know where it went. It’s not like I had kids, started planning a big wedding, decided to travel the world, or changed careers. No, the time just disappeared. Three years I’ve spent searching for that spare time so I could start blogging again. And don’t think I’ve suddenly found that missing time. No, I’m just here, nearing my mid thirties, making a serious (slight) effort to carve time out of my “busy” day to force myself to start blogging again.
Why? You might (or more likely might not) want to know. Well, it seems I never stopped. While I may have taken a hiatus from online blogging, I’ve continued to blog in my head. Non stop. And now I just have years worth of content floating around up there taking up much needed space. So this is me. Getting it out.
You’re welcome.
